Implement 13 cleaning measures within the fly ash silo

1. Temporary warning signs shall be set up around the fly ash silo construction site. Construction activities must not exceed the designated construction scope, and unauthorized personnel are strictly prohibited from entering the construction site.

2. Close the fly ash storage pipeline, secure it with wire, and hang a warning sign.
When pulverized coal ash is not to be fed into the mill, move the downstream equipment such as the rotor scale at the bottom of the silo to the maintenance position.

3. The lighting fixtures in the warehouse enter through the material level counting hole in the middle of the warehouse roof, and cleaning personnel must not touch the lighting tools and circuits.

4. When entering the fly ash silo for cleaning, the ratio of people outside the silo to those inside should be greater than 2:1, and a specially-assigned person should be designated for supervision from outside.

5. Observe the stacking situation inside the warehouse, the firmness of the ladder inside the warehouse, and the condition of the warehouse roof from the door on the top of the warehouse. Only after confirming safety can you enter.

6. Construction personnel entering the fly ash silo must wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including goggles, dust masks, safety shoes, helmets, etc.
When entering the warehouse, personnel must tie two safety ropes. One rope should be secured to the dust collector bracket outside the warehouse, and the other should be attached to the ladder inside the warehouse.

7. When starting to clean the silo, observe the flow rate and feed it into the mill; if the flow rate is too low, install a pipe on the upper part of the rotor scale to discharge ash, and the discharged fly ash is mixed with slag from the admixture furnace for use as admixture.

8. First, use an iron rod and compressed air to poke at the material at the bottom of the silo; then, use compressed air to blow and tamp at the top of the silo; after entering the silo, first use compressed air to blow, then poke at the material with a long stick, and finally, tools such as shovels and picks can be used. At the beginning, keep people away from the material to prevent it from collapsing.

9. If scaffolding or other high-altitude construction work is required within the warehouse, relevant regulations pertaining to high-altitude work must be strictly adhered to.

10. It is prohibited to use explosives for cleaning coal ash silos.

11. In case of special circumstances, special safety measures must be formulated before construction can proceed.

12. After the fly ash silo is cleaned and passes the acceptance inspection, and the construction site is cleaned, the construction is completed.
